About Me: I began training in Soo Bahk Do in September of 1999 under the guidance of Thomas M. Thai, SBN. I was promoted to the rank of Cho Dan in 2006 and E Dan in 2008. In 2009 I received my Jo Kyo Certification, opened my school in 2010, and was promoted to Sam Dan in 2011. In 2013 I received my Kyo Sa Certification. In 2014 I was invited to Ko Dan Ja as a potential Sa Dan candidate. In 2015 I was promoted to the rank of Sa Dan. My virtual school, DeJohnette Martial Arts Academy, is located in Oceanside, CA.
