About Me: My name is Greg Walker with a given name of Nam Jin Jeong - born in Seoul, S.Korea and I started studying in the Moo Duk Kwan in 1999. I had trained under Grandmaster Jae C. Shin and was one of very few Korean's in the WTSDA. After receiving 3rd Dan from the Association, I trained under and was promoted to 4th Dan under Yong Duk Kim (#2) and Hee Suk Choi (#5). I was re-certified by Grandmaster Ho Sik Pak (#13282) and Koe Woong Choung for San Dan and then tested for Oh Dan under both of their organizations.
Professionally, I am a sport coach. I have coached our senior National Teams at USA Volleyball since 2013 after the London Games and then lead Team USA in Rio 2016 and have served for one of our program as the head coach and will continue to serve into the Paris Quad and hopefully LA2028. I coach collegiately during the academic year and have spent most of my time in NCAA Division I athletics - most recently leading the University of Southern California to a top #5 finish in the NCAA in 2019 and recently moved back east to take over a volleyball program at a top #11 academic college. I have been asked to start a Dojang and Karate club at the institution and look to grow Tang Soo Do there.
Interests: Music since the age of 3. Pianist along with playing guitar, trumpet, violin.
