Black and white footage of 1960 Moo Duk Kwan activities. The origin of this video and the name of who filmed this footage is unknown. Perhaps a viewer will be able to provide some provenance information so credit can be attributed.
I would like to give my Thanks to the Founder Hwang Kee, Kwan Jang Nim Hwang, and To Sa Bom Nim Seiberlich. I briefly spoke to you Sa Bom Nim Seiberlich in Korea at the 60th anniversery. The conversation was about Master Robert A. Thompson. Ka Sa Ham Ni Da.

Thank you.
I was a newly minted Cho Dan when this film was made. I was speaking with KJN about it yesterday and he remembers some parts of it. I had quite a few reactions as I watched it. The advanced Hyungs were almost exactly as I learned them – I guess that’s expected as I learned them from the Founder.
The Free-fighting was our old style mix-it-up, and most of the Kyok Pa was somewhat comical. And I enjoyed the performances by the boy who looked about 13 at the time.
KJN confirmed that it was filmed at the Changdoek Palace and I noticed a few from the Central Dojang where I trained occasionally.
Thank you Sa Bom Nim Duncan. I did noticed Master Robert A. Thompson in the beginning of this video. This was filmed in a beautiful location. It is very interesting to watch these historical tapes.
